Reading through the manual (p.26) and it says that the second speed that is displayed on the Combi-Instrument display can be changed.
I dont have this option to change the setting as I would like the digital reading on the second speed to display mph not kph.
Has anyone been able to change this??

So you didn't spec the highline computer? You will need vag-com then, or ask the stealer.

I didn't see that option when I ordered mine, or is that with the Lux Pack?

The OBC Speed reading is standard (or so I believe). You need to tick which readings you want to display in the Setup Menu (there are about 8, if I recall correctly) and ensure the OBC is set to UK miles & gallons. AFAIK, you can't mix kph and mph.

Highline standard on the mk 6....finally

Went to see my dealer today and he doesnt know why I cant get the second speed setting, so its going to be a phone call to germany next week to find out why.
I would interested be to hear if any of the other mk6 owner can change this setting

Looked on my car earlier after reading this and i cannot change it either!
Its in the manual though.
Also cannot get my passenger side mirror to dip when reversing even though it is set to on in the menu.

My dealer got intouch with VW technical in Germany and they told them that its a legal requirement to display both mph and kph and because the dail doesnt have kph they display this in the MFD.
Why it says we can change this in the owners manual I dont know. I might get intouch with VW and ask for an updated owners manual

Did you ask about the mirror down option when reversing?
-
My mirror down is working again now - I think i have worked it out that the mirror control needs to be in the L position for it to work.

Do you have folding mirrors?
-
Yes, as part of the Lux pack.

Does the mirror down only work if you have folding mirrors?
