Hi all.
Just thought I had better register as I have been reading your forum as a guest daily for the last few months. I got knocked of my motorbike and broke my knee so have been stuck at home. The good news is I just got my insurance pay out (you see where this is going) so am looking high and low for a half decent MK4 1.8T as the wife would rather i had 4 wheels now and I still feel the need to have some sort of toy.. So the R tech lads will get a call at some point
I'm not a Golf virgin though..have owned a MK2 GTI back in the day, for which I still have a pair of brand new front wings that I never got round to fitting, I'll get some pics and offer them up on the classified part soon..Be nice to finally get shot of them!
Anyway...Great forum, the advice posted has been invaluable in my search for a car, and given me lots of ideas as to what I'd like to do to it when I get it...Cheers.
Dave.

Ahhh, Glad to see I'm not alone...!
Yeah, I doubt this will be my last folly into the world of 2 wheels, bizarrely the wife has given me the nod to get a trackday bike as she see's it as safer?? Who am I to argue. For now though I have the hump with them, not to mention 4 screws and a plate in my leg (I have the xray's, i'll post them when I work out how to!).
