Title: Chaning Bulbs! F&*k
Post by: chungE on 02 September 2009, 14:50
You guys weren't kidding about changing the sidelight bulbs! It took some of my skin and some of my blood!
I did eventually use a pliers to get it bulbs out!

I was completely surprised at the dipped beam, i knew you guys said it was easy but i thought i had broken it.
Even if a child could fit their hands in there they wouldn't have the strength to pull the holder out!!

Main beam is pretty easy on both sides, passenger side sidelight is in pretty tight but you can get at it easily enough. Drivers side sidelight is a nightmare! No space for your hand behind it. I had to break out the needle nose pliers and put it in at a weird angle. Took forever but got it eventually. Worth it though for the Phillips bulbs

If you have xenons, or even halogens with the winter pack - ie headlamp washers, then there is no need to remove the bumper.
