hi all,
just a little query, i have heat marks on the bonnet caused from the engine heat, what is the best way of getting rid of this? i will post pics later as its too dark to take a pic now, i visited halford and the guy there said to use Autoglym Paint Renovator that might help, before i start wasting money i would like to hear some "pro" advice.
Thanks to all who help out.

thats cool dude i can see that  the thing is!!! is it under the clearcoat or on top? if its on top then you can get that out with a rotory and some compound
if its under the clearcoat then its a respray im afraid

if i run my hand over it, its smooth dont feel it so its a spary jobie?
-
its hard to tell... it might polish out.. it looks to me like there has been a rain shower/night dew and then the engine has heated up all the water and evaporated it and just left water marks behind..
-
get some polish and try buffing it by hand and see if it improves or removes it.
try megs scratchX.
