Title: Mk4 Rear Lights Stopped Working

hey guys new here and looks like a great site!

i have a silver 1.8t mk4 golf r32 rep ..... i took the sh!tty lexus lights off and sprayed them jet black stuck them back on, put all the wires back in and only the left side worked, if i indicated to the right, it would indicated at a stupid speed on the front lights and side light.. but nothing at the back..

i left it hopeing i could get a macanic to look it over but now both sides at the back dont work, not atall none of the rear lights... im a total newbie to the car stuff, could i have blown fusses?

The rapid flashing means you either have a blown bulb or perhaps you have disturbed one during the job you have just done.
Check ALL the bulbs.

i did notice the indicator bulb was hanging out abit and had a black ring around the top asif it was blown, its just both idicators that dont work now, all the rest are working.... will it be the bulbs?
