Blimey lol. What's the 150 TDI like then? :nerd:

So is your 130 quicker then a 1.8t with that much more toque but less bhp?

take that torque figure with a big pinch of salt; I'm running it again tomorrow at R-Tech on their new RR so it will be interesting to see what it is

standard 150bhp are cannon fodder   and providing I'm in the right gear i can keep up with mapped 1.8T's of the AGU flavour with the KO3 NOT the KO3s before Ivor pipes up)

Steve's when running right is quicker again as his keeps going at the top of the rev range

Rhyso those tourque firgures wont be far out as it is a TD!
lol you could pull articulated trailers with that.

im runing Revo stage 2 map, 4bar FPR, evoloution motorsport air filter, N75 by-pass, Forge spliter valve, Full Milltek Turbo back exhaust with sports cat.

my last dyno was with the stage 1 map and pushed out 219BHP with 241lbf

Thats from a 1.8T AUM engine

not sure how much all mine cost as the mods were done by the previous owner but i have...

Jabbasport Stage 2 remap & Jabba induction, De-cat, Scorpion exhaust system, baileys dump valve = 230bhp

... id be interested in putting it on the rolling road tho just to see for myself

is that a turbo back system mate?

what engine code you got as well?

not bad gains, im hoping to see 230 on my next RR with my stage 2

even Nick only quotes about 300lbs ft - 345lbs ft is hybrid turbo territory hence why i think its too high

hopefully see what it really is (or as close) tomorrow

sorry i have no idea if its turbo back or the engine code i could check for you tho im a bit of a n00b as this is my first VW owned

just a quick Q. tho , do remaps lose BHP over the years ?
Title: Re: whos best?
Post by: spetzdude on 01 September 2009, 20:07
o rite, yea that will be intresting tomorow Rhyso.  you never know tho

remaps dont loose power over the years, its the engine themselfs.
good maintenance and keep it well oiled and serviced to reduce that.

Thought 230bhp wasn't realistic without FMIC :undecided:
Title: Re: whos best?
Post by: spetzdude on 01 September 2009, 20:24
me same, but im on 220 with a stage 1, and you should see another 10 with a stage 2 so im now thinking its posible.

sory mate its not the N75 its actuly the N249.

here is the link:  http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=113646.0

what are you runing ABOO?

Thought 230bhp wasn't realistic without FMIC :undecided:

according to jabbas site they do a Generic remap that takes it from 150 upto 206-215bhp

then they do a custom stage 2 map that takes it from 206-215 upto 212-230bhp

i'd say realistically 210 CAN be achieved from a remapped aum, if it's in tip-top condition.. no vac/boost leaks, clean throttle body and run on good fuel. 240 is the target with stg2 and fmic.. upgraded hoses etc.

how much would a FMIC set me back with fitment ?
