I own a VW Golf 1.8T 2000 5dr also whats the labour time to fit them ?

Steve,
Im thinking i do front this month and get rear next month, would that be ok for a while, also is DPM the cheapest place to get them.
I see balance motorsport do free delivery only thing the offer ends today, will they do something like this again.
-
Got similar quesion,
I'm looking to get ARB for my 1.8T as well. Do I need front and rear both or any one will do?
-
Will be fine until the rear arrives, make sure you get the adjustable one as well :afro:
I got mine from balance motorsport in a deal they done last year, phone them up tomorrow and see what Julian says

If you upgrade the front do the rear as well
or just have the rear on its own
-
Cool, ill do that, also from your pic Steve between your tyre and arch do you have a 1cm gap.
Reason im getting the arbs is to eliminate the rubbing and and to go alittle more lower.
-
about that gap
-
I was thinking get the front arb then lower front and rear togeather, so between tyre and arch around .5 gap or less, i just hope when i drive fast around corners i dont want tyre to hit the arch.
then following month get rear arbs. does that sound ok.
-
.5 of an inch? or half a mm?
I get know rubbing with 5 people in the car and I can still get over pretty much any speed bump
-
i think you need to change the title of the topic

haha.. you're never done once you start the slippery slope of modding
i give it 3 months before you start looking for even more power
-
You reckon, i say that because to do a stage 2 remap i would need a few mods on the car which i reckon will cost lots of money, i say after remap if it can get close 200bhp should be quick enough.
At the moment i think its plenty fast, i love turbos very fast.
My car is old now, only thing going for it is that it still looks good and engine is good condition low miliage, i was thinking dark front lights and rear dark lights.
I found the front but the rear im having trouble with, i couple of years ago i saw someone with clear rear lens in the same style as the dark gti r32 lights alittle smoked, i cannot find anywhere, these lights look the sweet, nothing else compared comes close.
It looks like i will have to do some searching.
-
i know the ones you mean.. hella colour magic, i think bav and barry have them on theirs?
edit: these ones?

Good guess, they are similiar to these but the whole case was clear lens and the tint was so light not as dark as these you are showing me.
under the lens it had the same colours as the dark GTI and R32 red and black no pattern, as i said before i saw them a couple of years ago it was on a black golf some sort of advert on the net for car parts i think for vw they look well smart, no one ive seen with a golf around where i live have them.
Man i gonna have to spend a day or so searching the net to get them, when you see them you will think they look good undertated but really good. The lights im talking about would match any colour golf, they make the car look subtle none of the lexus crap pure ellegance.
If i find them i will send you a link. Good try though ive seen these one before and im not too sure they would suit my car since i own a Jazzy blue turbo. Front im thinking black or dark inside maybe clear or gentle light tint and they rear i got to find.
-
Rich ( BaV) has those Hella lights and his is jazz blue
-
send me a link of his car so i can see how they look. thanks
