I wired my sub in the other week and ever since my battery keeps going dead, i have just been taking the fuse out but its a right faf on.
Does anyone know how to stop my battery dying?
OR
Does anyone know how to connect the power cable in with just a ignition feed ?

So your amp isn't turning off? & when you go to start the car after it's been turned off a while it's dead?
When the hu is turned off is the amp still on?
-
why not wire the live to the ignition like I have, that way the only way current can get to the amp is by having the key in the ignition (you don't have to have the ignition or car running, just as long as the key is in the barrel it's fine)

Sounds like you've wired the remote wire (thin blue one) to perm live on back of stereo thus making the amp never switch off!
Do you find you have to switch the stereo on/off by hand as even when taking key out, it doesn't switch off? If so, swap red and yellow over as you have them wired wrong!
You shouldn't have to take a fuse out and your battery shouldn't go flat!

Is wiring a amp to draw current off the ignition wise?
-
DO NOT connect it to an ignition live that is highly dangerous
have you connected the remote live from the amp to the blue (or blue/white depending on which h/u it is)from the h/u

Ive conected the remote wire into the romote wire in the back of the head unit.
Ive swapped the red and yellow over and ikm going to leave it over night and see what happens but i dont know if thats the problem.
My amp is built in with the sub, so i carnt realy get to the amp but il just have to wait and see how things go?
Cheers for all the feedback so far hopefully il find a winner
