Title: Does Corrado interior fit into Mk1 Cab

Can anyone tell me if a Corrado seats and door panels fit into a Mk1 cab and if they do is there any additional work required to be done?

the front seats will bolt straight in the rears can be fitted but require some serious modding i think there is a website called matey matey which featured fitting rears into a cab. It is possible but you have to adapt the hinge mechanism and the locking bars that fasten the seat in place.

As for door cards no chance they are completely different and pre moulded, by the time you have hacked them up to fit it roughly it would be better to obtain second hand cab door cards and retrim them.

as for re trimming i went to a local furniture shop who deals in leather chairs they put me through to a leather supplier who can pretty much match any colour leather and provides some good samples. i would only touch the doors the seats i wouldnt know where to start on them, a mate from uni trimmed his seats on an old beatle in leather and it looked like a cheap motormania fix.
