Opened glovebox the other day and now its broke!!! looking pins stay in and handles hanging down ,like a spring or something has broke!! any ideals on how to fix?
-
you either have to take the glove box out and try to split it to repair (its glued together)
buy a new one and fit that
or do what I done and cut a flap into the back of glove box, clip the catches back together and then put a metal plate across it to hold the flap back down. its not pretty but it works and saves £100 in buying a new one

cheers mate, where do i cut? right behind catch?and how big a hole?
-
you got the raised section on the rear, I cut three sides and scored the forth so I could fold it back
-
cheers steve, will have to give that a go!
-
not too bad a job to split the glove box just take your time and don.t use too much force when splitting this is the way i did mine then repaired it then used a couple of small self tappers and washers to hold the levers in place and used some epoxy resin to glue the glove box back together all fine now

Mine did this the day I got it! Did what golfgar did to fix it.
