kr 16v water temperature.
does anyone know what the kr engine water temperature will run at in degrees when its been thrashed on a stage rally and where would you expect the needle to be on its own dash
thanks

been thrashed it'll et quite hot esp with ralyye type driveing. would expect it to be getting up past 110 on towards 120. relativly low speed lots of fulll throttel high rpm stuff will get any enigne quite hot

well mine runs at 80 normal driving, but competitive its 100 didnt go higher the one on its own dash goes up to 3 quarters! which makes me nervous. my old 8v never went above half but since the 16v been in it runs 3 quarters
im using a 16 diesel radiator its very long fills the front of the golf or would the 16v rad be better.

that rad will handle anythign you throw at it, as long as its in good nick. I'd be checking the thermostat is working and the fan cuts in when it should, have a read:
