Right, now that alloys and tyres are sorted, the time has become to start putting some money away for lowering!
Pretty much decided that a decent Springs and Shocks kit (eibach or weitec probably) will be sufficient for my needs but need to know exactly what else I will need to change (apart from the springs and shocks obviously!!)
Had recent advisory for both front top mounts so will change these. Should I change rear as well? Any other bushes or anything worth changing whilst im there?
Also was thinking of probably a 40/40mm drop. These front top mounts from Venom are supposed to bring the front down 10mm http://www.venommotorsport.com/product_details.php?id=31188&manufacturer=Supersport&category=Suspension
can anyone confirm that?
If thats the case then a 40/40 kit and them should give me 50mm at the front and 40mm at the rear which I think would be about right for a daily driver with a vr6 front lip and 15" rims. Dont really want too much lower cos live in speed bump heaven, with the biggest one being the work car park :undecided:

50/40 will give a bit of a nose down stance but if that's what you fancy then go for it. Spring plates shouldn't need changing though so if you're happy with 40/40 just use the original ones.
Rear top mounts don't tend to wear much but they are cheap so you can change them for peace of mind.

You can get 60 / 40 kits as well.
I would fit new front and rear top mounts to be honest.
