hi all, i recently purchased mk3 golf gti 2ltr 8v which is holding back mainly 1st and 2nd gear she pulls back then goes, cleaned throttle body etc been told the piper cams and vernier pully aint set up right could this be a potential cause been quoted £150 at a rolling road to set up cams etc search site for more info couldnt find much on cams any help would appreciate :smiley:

Could well be worth setting it on a rolling road.
Just for info it has a single cam.

A rolling road should highlight any running issues.
Although i would unplug the maf sensor and take it for a spin. If it runs ok then give it a clean.
