MK5 R32's are up again this month (thats up every month since march i believe!) by between £225 and £675!!!
Get in!
Who said a car is a depreciating asset!
Lack of a proper R mk6 is doing wonders for the R32's
-
what about humble plain old GTI's?
-
Did they not just fall by a spectacular amount in February, now were seeing it bounce to correct itself? There were reports on here of 08's non imports, at circa £17k. Wish I got one then d'oh! Still £400 road tax...

Had noticed this before also.... price dropped heavily before xmas up until end of jan/feb then bounced back with avengance
Just take note though Jules that the previous price drop of the R32 happend to coincide with the increase in fuel... something that is again creaping up :nerd:
-
Its already going up, with prices mate. If you check prices are currently higher now than this time last year!
It will of course level out but compared to most cars its going up alot, more so than if a proper R mk6 was to be launched!
No idea of MK5 GTI, got the info of R32oc

GTIs are doing pretty well...
I paid £15K from a dealer for my 2007(57) 8 mths ago.......had a look on we buy anycar and they offerred me £15200!!!
Andy.....problem is, I cant part with it......its the perfect motor!!!......
-
Just thought I would take a quick look out of curiosity, 2005/55 GTI 3-door (fully loaded sat nav, leather, xenons etc) bought in April for £8800, webuyanycar.com will buy it off me for £9100! Even with nearly 8k miles put on it since then.
Remarkable really... never thought buying a car could be fun AND an viable economic investment :D
However as the poster above me said.... don't want to sell it anyway so doesnt matter what they value it at :)
-
I also stuck my car into webuyanycar and for an 05 plate 5 door with leather and satnav 41k miles - just over £10k. Quite impressed! Not looking to sell but nice to know.

try buying a new one for £23k 3 years ago, thats a heart stopping amount of depreication.
