Title: steering wheel question

Ive got a 94 16v with a non airbag steering wheel,will a later airbag wheel fit or has it got a different amount of splines?has any one got a good condition one for sale cheap?mines starting to twist on the wheel frame and isnt very nice to drive like this. :laugh:

I believe it would fit but all the backing etc is different to allow for the wiring, would be easier to find another early one.

I had a '93 1.4 Ryder which didn't have a steering wheel with an airbag, but I wanted to update the look of my interior so I fitted a steering wheel from a '96 model with an airbag.

Obviously the airbag was never going to work so I cut the plug off. Other than that, it fitted perfectly and was 100% functional (minus the airbag obviously)
