Title: Rear Pads

Any one got any hints tips or cheat on changing my rear pads?

did them at the weekend one was a right biatch to wind back in tho!

At least you knew you had to wind them in! I was there for hours trying to push them in. ;D

well i worked that one out after a while too! lol had to get down to halfords for some circlip pliers which i broke! doh!

Halfords do a caliper winding tool y know. Thats what i used.

do they? couldnt see one but i was rushing maybe they didnt have one its only a tinpot halfords

I thought you just wound them back in with a huge allen key?  ???

you can use a mini g clamp, about ?1 from a pound shop ;D

some have an allen key fixing and othere have two notches cut into! was hoping mine would work with and allen keywould have been so much easier and wouldnt have hurt my knuckles so much!

clamp the fixed end ont the body of the calliper and the screw in end onto the piston and wind in. hey presto :D
