Title: ecu vacuum 16v kr

So whats all this ecu vacuum line 1 metre malarky. I have just wired a 16v kr ecu into my 8v gti mk1 loom so i can have a nice fat spark on my kr lump in my mk1. I have also connected the vacuum line that goes into the ecu to a non return valve into the same vacuum hose that goes from mani to brake servo. So ecu is getting vacuum fine. BUT then i have been heard that this vacuum hose that goes to ecu line MUST be 3.5mm thick and EXACTLY 1 metre long and it MUST be the OEM black/with yellow stripe????? Whats this about then eh????

remove non return valve.   ecu needs to see the pressure in the manifold.    the 1 meter of 3.5 mm pipe is a g60 thing
