Title: New member... change of scenery
Post by: MightySprocket on 25 August 2009, 20:55
hi all, im looking to get into Golfs, hopefully a mk1 GTi, if not a mk2.

Ive just sold my Mk1 Escort project and im looking for next favourite iconic motoring legend... the mk1 gti

my escort
(http://i302.photobucket.com/albums/nn96/MightySprocket/DSC00858.jpg)

built from a rusty shell and was due to be featured in a Ford Scene magazine when the "recession" hit  dont have the heart to build another so i want an everyday car that can be enjoyed on the roads i am blessed to live by

it was either that or eBay one of the kids.... then who would make me a brew

no, it wasn't an easy decision to make but it has gone to a good home and to be honest as an everyday car it was useless, grp4 suspension, stripped out interior, close ratio box and 4.1:1 LSD was taking its toll on by arse, back and mental health
