Title: Rear headrest leg length?
Post by: skcollob_ho on 25 August 2009, 17:28
My rear bench has headrest fittings, and I bought front headrests without checking first.

Now I've decided that I want to straighten the legs, and cut them down to the right length for the rear.

Can someone tell me what the leg length is for the rear headrests please?

Will measure mine later for you. But just a thought - wont the notches be in wrong place then?

Thanks for that, much appreciated.

Not really too worried about the notches tbh. So long as they actually slide in there, i'll be happy enough. Its more for effect than anything.

Would it not make sense to put the headrests in the rear seats, push them as far down as they'll go, then measure how much the legs stick out, and then chop off the extra? :nerd:

I see where you're coming from, but because of the kink in the legs, they don't actually go down as far as they'd need to, to be able to do it that way.
