Much as I love my GTI, after 2 years of trouble free motoring I'm thinking of replacing it with something less practical.
Its a UK supplied, Wolfsburg built October 2006 '56' plate Golf GTI 5dr in Candy White with:
-Manual 6-speed
-Tilt / Slide Glass Sunroof (a rare and lovely option)
-Heated anthracite leather
-18" MonzaII (all very good except very very minor curbing on one wheel)
- RCD500 6cd in-dash
-Xenons
-Cruise Control
-Parrot CK3000 hands-free (neat professional install)
-52k miles (40k motorway miles in its first year before I had it)
- Full VW Service History, serviced by main agents at least once a year (now on annual servicing)
- Very good condition
What are your thoughts please?
Thanks,
Jon

I tend not to look at the prices of MK5s anymore so am not the best person to give you a price. Take a look on PistonHeads and AutoTrader at similar specs and see what they are going for.
What troubles have you had for 2 years!?

go onto i think its called "glasses guide" and it gives you the oppertunity to put all your info in and give you an accurate price, they do charge £3.50 though but worth it

Top of my head..................about £13000-£13500 depending on condition. Good spec and popular colour.

Sorry, typo, I meant to write trouble free motoring. Pleased to say no rattles either. I had the sunglasses holder (dodgy clip) and one of the rear light clusters (fogged up) replaced under warranty but otherwise nothing.
