Title: Dash Illumination Conversion Kit
Post by: Red_Tekk on 24 August 2009, 14:44: Wondered if there is anything out there to convert the crappy Mk3 green lit speedo to a proper Mk4 style rear LED lit dial kit?!?!

Or has anyone done anything similar with pictures?!?!

They do look good but they aren't cheap.

When I have the time I'll be doing a DIY job for my Mk2. I'll get some stainless dials from Metal Monkey and put some el foil behind, with red lit needles. Fiddly, but worth it.

I have some blue bulbs in the Vento at the moment and they are alright, not the best though.

The bulb lit with white just looks a bit tacky don't you think?!
