Hi Guys,
I hope you guys can give me some advice.
My mother is celebrating her 60 birthday next month. She likes her Golf GTI more than my dad.
Her car is due for a service which require a new set of spark plugs. Do you guys know which is the best one to use?
1. Denso
2. Borsch
3. NGK
4. OE
Thanks for your reply!
Herbie
PS. Revo and K+N filter is the only mods!

LOL at giving your mum a set of spark plugs for her birthday pressie!
Anyhow, just stick with the standard OEM ones - part no '101 905 631 B'. These are actually Bosch plugs - F6KPP332S. Retail price about a #10 each plus vat (my pound sign has gone awol !!!) - and trade is #6.15 each plus vat.

Thanks for your Info.
Just wonder whether Iridium spark plugs will last a bit longer and hopefully yield better MPG or even BHP!

The standard plugs are actually very good. Not sure which element they use, but the centre electrode is one of the current 'fine wire' types, and are also 'LongLife' rated - so unless you have seriously tuned your engine, there really isn't anything better than OEM spec.
