Title: does the insurance company need to know about a forge dump valve

as title,

will they need to be told about the forge 007? should be getting one tomorrow.

the car hasnt been remaped yet - soon though hopefully  :evil: lol

will the car feel any different from just the valve?

yes it is a modifcation as in it doesn't have a VW part number

in all honesty i doubt your insurance company will charge you extra for it as it doesn't increase your bhp but its worthwhile listing it as a modifcation as insurance companies will do everything to squeeze out of a claim

to be sure i have told adrian flux and they dont have a prob with it imo its better to declare it tbh you never know :wink:

i'd tell them. depends on which company you're with.

me and the mrs was with esure with the yaris, they didn't mind it having a backbox or being lowered as they were optional toyota parts.

Technically you should list everything - if you are with a decent insurer they wont charge you more.......if they do charge you more then stamp your feet HARD

its stronger so in theory it will help hold the boost that little bit longer - most likely be a placebo effect more than anything
