Title: Aftermarket exhausts
Post by: Madmax on 20 August 2009, 15:29
Sure on my motorbikes i had after market race cans on but on car i think they're horrible.
The car i bought came with a Scorpion twin exit can & i really want to change it back to stock, it's
not even that loud but it has too go.

I've had a look underneath & it looks like its one whole unit right down to the front of the car.

What would you advise?

Oh, how much could i possible sell it for?

Cheers

Find someone who wants it with a standard system and do a deal.

Sure will, is it just a a few bolts holding it on? & how do i tell if it's a full system? I think it is as it looks to
be one full part without any sections.

Any company's that deliver such awkward parcels? :)

Thing is if its a full stainless its worth keeping. Mines a stainless and i dont like it but it means it will never need replacing.

They useually have a join somewhere along the line as you wouldn't be able to fit the system as a complete unit from downpipes to back box, I dont think anyway, unless you start stripping more of the car appart.

It will still be quite awkward and oddly shaped but most of these £8 delivery services should be ok. They arn't to fussed useually if the details are a little "off" lol ...

I have a standard exhaust if you want it including the cat? You would have to collect from Horsham, West Sussex.
