I've just bough quite an original unmolested Mk1 campaign.
I've had it a few days and ran it with no probs until I came to move it and it wouldn't start. I've got a good spark so I think it's down to fueling. The fuel pumps working and I have fuel pressure up to the distribution manifold which is mounted on the air flow meter, but when you crack any of the banjo bolts which secures the individual fuel lines which run to the injectors there's no pressure to the injectors. The car came with a spare distribution manifold thingy so this points to it being problematic previously.
Any help on this would be appreciated

Hmmmm, wonder if your fuel filler neck has rusted through :-\
Take off your fuel cap and have a look in there..........does it look rusty, or even worse, rusted right through?
I would also check out your inlet to the fuel pump. There is a conical fuel filter in there that is the first line of defense against crud from the tank. If that fills up with crud...........well just ask MK1_BOY and G6dub, they have BTDT
