Tired of having to re-black the arches and trim on my '98 Mk3.
How do I go about getting the bumpers / arches / trim colour coded?
-
simple, go to a bodyshop ;D lol
-
Any in particular to make sure they get the bud colours right (Dusty Mauve)?
In / around London (I get my car serviced / worked on up at AMD Bicester/Oxford), so not afraid to drive a bit.
Apparentl there's a place in Hemel Hempstead that's good.
Roughly how much should it cost for arches and bumpers?
-
call it maximum 300 quid for a top job? ???
-
I done past cars of mine myself results have been pretty good(only when a women reversed in to me i found the paint flaked off) and only costing around ?30 for materials and that covered front and back bumpers and the grill, did take quite a while once you prep it and waiting for it to dry though, but if you have the time on your hands give it a go.

Ahhh thats where im from, I take it your talking about bradshaws? well let me put it this way, They pissed me off / ripped me off so badly, i refrused to pay. Then to get revenge, i had 5 mates all book there car in for major amounts of work, Then give false phone numbers, Left em with 2 weeks worth of work booked up and no cars to work on.
However i do know a good bodyshop that does some quality work near buy, if your interested ill give you there number, Just tell em "justin, the guy with the black Mk2 golf" sent ya ;)

Not Bradshaws - I heard that Bodymaster GB (Bourne End Mills Ind Est down the back of MaccyD's on the bypass) are pretty decent...
Ta!
