Title: what fluid in powerhood motor?

I have just picked up a mk3 golf cabriolet and the guy i got it off has drained the
powerhood motor but didnt know what fluid to replace it with....

I have no idea as i have never owned a cabriolet before so what should i fill it with?

I would guess hydraulic / pas fluid, should be in the handbook or manual.
