Yep there cheaper than most, and from what i hear there decent blokes! will help you out know end! some companies will just map your car and take your money r-tech will give your car a good check over before they go ahead with the map just to make sure you car will be alright with it

im pretty sure they vacom it and clean the throttle body aswell.

Yeah the bloke i spoke to said they give it a good once over and that the performance upgrade will be awesome!

i cant wait, was looking at induction kits on ebay which would really only add a bit of noise and they were around £100 then i found there add which gives a load of performance for £200! happy days!

Off to the nurburgring next month, gonna be even better now!

well you seemed happy with that when you came back from your test drive

it pulled very strong despite that split breather and n249 issue - it's a shame i couldn't sort that for you but getting parts on a saturday is impossible! Change or bypass the n249 and if you're still getting that noise on lift-off give me a shout and i'll sort you out an uprated DV. Let me know how you get on either way - and have fun at the 'ring!

Just being nosey, what noise was there?

kind of a fluttering noise - hard to describe but not the usual failed DV (i pressure tested the dv) noise which i describe as a pigeon sneezing. More like wastegate chatter caused by the fault in the n249 that vagcom picked up.

hello! Wanna say a big thanks to everyone at R-tec! Its completely transformed the car!

The breather pipe and n249 are on order from vw so will sort that this week then hopefully all is good for the ring!

Thanks again!
