Title: How to check when your car requires a service
Post by: Waqas on 18 August 2009, 15:56
hi i wanted to know how to check when my vw golf gti turbo next requires a service.

Last services was at 96,000 and the cars on 100,000

I heard something about variable servicing and some function within the in the menu to find out?  Also checking mpg average not current.

Thanks

Its recommended every 12000 or every year. When was the cam belt and water pump last changed?

to be honest the long life/time distance regime is pretty much obsolete for cars as old as the mk4 now. Oil every 5k miles if it's modified, 10k miles if it's standard is a good rule to work by.
