Title: gti anniversary

hi all.im new to this but ive just picked up a 1996 8v anniversary,its in good condition but i feel it deserves to be brought back to its original state.i already know a little about gti's having previously owned a few but not as much as i would like.just wondering if there is anything i should really know about it.the more info the better.if i figure out how to, ill post some pics as soon as i can.

thanks for the welcome.im from devon and  anni is black,its all original apart from the previous owner decided to get rid of the original bbs rx2 rims and replaced them with 5 spokes which is not good becos im having a mare trying to find an original set of rims.
