Title: Mk1 polo....what to look for?

I've always fancied a mk1 polo, for my first car I wanted either a mk1 polo or mk1 golf but ended up with a mk1 fiesta due to financial circumstances  :(
Anyway after seeing a few nice examples of the polo at inters and action this year my interest in the little hatch has been revived. I wouldn't mind getting my hands on one now to create a cheap retro ride.
Does anybody know which areas to have a close look at? i.e. which areas are most prone to rust, are there any mechanical weaknesses specific to the mk1 polo etc etc.

Seen a few go through ebay over the last few months and they seem to go quite cheap.

im guessing at the edges of windscreen...rust maybe?

Ive got a rust spot on my mk2 Polo coupe around that area so worth a look?
