Can anbody tell me what this is from the part number. 443 907 393N.
-
yeah its an idle stabilization control valve that is fitted to jetta's golfs corrados and passats. any more info needed cos i got etka! ;D (vw parts catalogue)
-
Are you sure? Cos its behind the centre console and its a square box with two wire plugs connected to it.
-
Yup, its the 'other half' of the ISV unit! The other bit everyone has problems with is in the engine bay.
-
Ah thanks. I thought it might be something to do with my alarm but obviously not. Thanks for your help guys.

Digging up an old post as it was the only result in my search! Still having idling problems. Had the CO level raised from 0.2 to 1.8 yesterday. The HC's were fine, and the guy said that would indicate no air leaks. So, he recommended I check this part mentioned. I've just replaced mine with a spare one I luckily had kicking around! My ISV in the engine bay is buzzing, so would changing this part make any difference to My idle problems???? One for Mr Rubjonny perhaps?!?!

HC? Hose clamps? Sorry noobish thing to ask.
-
Ha ha....Hydro Carbons.

well if you have a spare one i should change it to see, i had major major idle problems and all it was after trying everything was the vacum hose rubber was leaking so i went on vagcat and re did them all to the diagram with good connections and it was good as new. This was after buying 2x isv control units, 3x isv's, all new injector o rings, temp senders, fuel pumps, etc etc

Sir, that's cheese

i've posted about this prob before and i'm sure i found the fix on here to, but anyway
i've got a 16v k-jet mk2 and i had nothing but probz with the idle for ages,
i sorted it out by cleaning the grey valve found behind the air box with brake cleaner.
not had a prob with the idle since.
