Title: Bonding a spoiler to a MK4 gti?

Just bought an Anniversary rear spoiler for my MK4 gti is this the best stuff/ method for fixing to the car ta

tiger seal!!! did it a while ago and worked a treat...got off ebay...bloody ace!

I had the same question so I know what Im talking about.Tiger seal yeah but also I strongly recommend fixing it on with screws to.I got a body shop to fit mine.He used tigerseal and screws and its on solid he told me just tigerseal isn't enough now I dont know if he's right or wrong but I feel alot better knowing its on with screws too.Apparently they are MENT to be screwed on you take the rubber plugs out at the top of the boot lid (just above the rear window) and you will see the marks where the holes are ment to be drilled.

tiger seal is more than enough to hold the spoiler on! have you seen the stuff? i think they used it when they built the starship enterprise! :grin:
