Title: Cigarette lighter

Hi, this is my first post here although I have been lurking for a while!

I bought an 06 red GTI on Friday and I couldn't be happier with it, it really is amazing.

However the cigarette lighter socket is not working, neither is the auxilliary socket in the boot. Are these both on the same fuse?

Can anyone tell me which fuse it is since the previous owner lost the handbook etc and I'm awaiting a replacement which is on order from VW.

You need the ignition on for them to work - could this be the problem?

Thanks, I've had the ignition on when I tried using them.

I found the info on another site, checked and it's definitely the fuse. Job done  :smiley:
