Title: elec window probs

ok when i got my 3dr anni the drivers window wouldnt work, motor i believe is the common prob, changed that today and still its doing nothing, passenger window works but only on the door button, when i press the pass window switch from drivers door the sunroof closes!!!!!???

any ideas?

With the door open, look between the door and the pillar, there's a rubber boot there with all the electrics running through it. Pull the rubber boot back and check that none of the wires are broken..

ok i'll check in a bit, when i press the window button the motor goes for a split second then stops, plugged the new motor in and it does the same, changed the switch and still the same

Sounds like a wiring problem then. Are all the wiring plugs connected the correct way around?

to the switches you mean? yea they only go on one way, i'll check between the doors tomorrow, they dont run on a relay do they?
