Title: Heater control lights aren't working
Post by: Madmax on 15 August 2009, 13:22
Hi guys,

2 days ago they were working fine, very dim but fine. Now they're not even lighting up.
I removed the heater & the wiring is all plugged in but can't see any bulbs.

Any diagrams or suggestions please.

Thanks.

There's a white casing on the back of the heater controls which the wiring is plugged into yes? Pull this off (only 4 clips iirc) and there's a circular green filter made from plastic, the bulb is in the centre of this.

you'll need a bit of tube to get the bulb out!!!

I just pulled off the green filter and then ripped the bulb out?

Ok. I removed the heater & got to the bulb & it's very dim, is this the bulb or just the power going to the bulb as it's the same on
my mums Polo, the heater lights are very dim. If not i'll get another bulb. :)
