can you dye your head liner with fabric dye? and has anyone done this?

Don't think it will work as the headliner is card backed.

i've had a practice at the scrappy you can get the fabric off the board no hassle so should be sorted! :grin:

Yes but you will not be able to restick it, I tried and most glues soaked through.

buy some cheap material of the bay and "carpet glue" to the original  :wink:

velcro if done right it can work with short stack staples.

what?? are you stupid... staples. would look like a dogs c0ck

the main problems your going to have is A) removing the origional fabric without snapping the roof lining in half, B) once out and you have removed the old fabric, you need to reinforce the roof lining again, as it will be very very floppy, as you've just taken a layer off it. C) you need to remove the old fabric if you are going to retrim it in new fabric, you cant just spray it and stick it on the old stuff, as the extra weight will just pull the old fabric away and it will just sag down. and finally d) finding something you can manipulate around the handle areas and sunvisor area as the are very very tricky, but something that is also quick think and substantional so the glue doesnt soak through. ive trimmed about 10 of these things, hate them.

thats why you use SHORT STACKED STAPLES!And thats why i have said about using the scappy as a practice area its not imposible just tricky but if pulled off will look mint as im not going to have my car lookng like crap.

+1 I had loads of problems recovering mine and in the end gave up and got a s/h lining.
