Title: help me brainwash my mate.. lol..
Post by: Overseer on 06 September 2004, 11:18
he's learning to drive.. and will be lookin at spending between 500 and 1000 on his first motor..

am hoping to line him up with a nice mk1 8v or a mk2 8v..

he claims he's not interested in cars at all, but somehow happens to fall in love with them ;)

think a mk2 8v will be an easier sell because he'll be able to get more extras with one.. like PAS, 'leccy windows..? etc.. finding one with alloys would be a bonus.. ;)

also gonna remind him not to get something weird (he often likes quirky stuff.. e.g. he had a thing for landrover 101s a while back... if you know what one of those is.. ).. and to get something sensible that stills has parts etc avail...

might even get him on here :)

how else can i steer his decision? :D

i have 4/5 months brainwashing time - lol

Just tell him all bulsh!t thats been going round atm.

The Golf revolutioised the car market and became the first Hot Hatch etc. etc.

There's loads of positive stuff around atm.
Unless your mate hasnt got a brain to wash (landrover 101) then u should have no probs.
