Hello when i turn my ignition on,on my mk3 1.4 where the trip digital clock is it flashes (in 02) then goes off.What is this?

i meant the maintainence section on this forum :grin:

its easy enough to do, just involves turning the ignition a few times and pressing the reset button in a particular order.

mine is the same, iv got all the books and the one that tells you how to do it.. il have a search about and post the instrctions on here for you awel.

Once reset it will say in00 when you turn on your ignition,I take it you are gonna service it first before resetting it?  :rolleyes:

Just did the servive and ino2 popped up 2 days later lol all done now what a clever little thing i had no idea you could set the service schedul to your own desire quality cheers for the help

its not that clever! its just a timer, like after every 5000 miles clocked it might show the change oil notice. after every 10k in01 after every 20k in02

its just a timer! nothing clever, and it does not mean that your car has been serviced correctly and at the right intervals!!
