Thats just a standard blisten shocks, they wont lower your car anything. Take a picture of the cars hight atm and we will be able to tell from that.
-
What springs are fitted.

it lists it as both mk2 and mk3 on that website????
-
Mk2 and MK3 are the same anyway.
-
il get some pics up in a couple of hours.
not a clue about the springs.. the paint that is flaking off is orange/red??
-
I thought that they came like that standard? i changed my suspension and took off the standard ones and they were Bilstien shocks.
Your springs might be diff maybe lowering springs on standard shocks?
-
to be honest it might not even be lowred.. it might just be stock! i have no clue.. heres some pics.

Yes that is lowered.
-
that is a 35mm drop with them shocks! 100%
-
35mm thats not bad. do you recon itd look ok with 16's in them? or would it be too 'archy'. haha

Should be fine if you use 195 or 205/45's
-
good good. i dont really go much lower coz of the exhaust.
so are they aftermarket shocks.. or is it just springs?? the ride is pritty hard.

id say it was just springs, fit the 16's and see how they look but tbh it cant look any worse than it already does
-
wel yes! i kno haha, they were on it when i got it and not had money to swap them yet. i need to find a chav to sell mine to!
-
thats definatly just springs and yes them wheels are ruuubish haha get some 16" deep dish or porsche wheels !! dont go any higher then 17
-
Nothing wrong with 17" if the right pattern.
-
He only thing I like about 17's is that they fill the arches. I'm after some borbet A's I think.. Can't fit much coz Its only 4 bolt.. :-( I don't think 15' would look as good as 16. At a guess, anyone kno how much a wheel refub is? Iv seen some that need doing badly.
-
just out of intrest, has anyone got any pics of a 35mm drop with 15's and 16's jsut to see the diffrence.. 15's are way easier to get hold of..
-
If your going to run 15"s then you need coilovers, I was running 15"s with a 85mm drop.
-
ah sack 15's then. i dont wana go any lower.
