Title: anni wheels taking apart
Post by: andc1 on 11 August 2009, 22:12
ok just pcked up my anni today and it has the original bbs alloys, ive been told these are splt rims so the question is do they actually split or not? i love the look of em but love the deep dish look, is it possible to replace the rim for deep dish rim on em

i was looking into doing this, spoke to styledynamix, they seemed to think it was do-able, but pretty sure it was quite expensive. might be popping down there tomorrow so will ask them.

It's not do-able in any way, shape or form.

They are 2pc, a centre, which is bolted to a complete rim.
The rim is set at 7" wide...no options (well, you could fit Mk4 RXII rims, at 6.5" wide) so no, you can't make them wider.

They aren't a split rim, in the true context...they are a multi piece, or two piece.

was down at styledynamix today, and they were saying that u would have to change the whole barrel to make them any deeper. however it will be very expansive to do, they did recommend speaking to image wheels about it http://www.imagewheels.co.uk/
