+1
and due to that i got another one yesterday for the mk4
-
why are they bad?? mine is great esp as most of the stuff is on the 2e engine
-
Mines great too, helped me to fix my car without a garage doing it! Bonus!

i've got the AGG engine and there is nout in there about it haha. they show you can just use pliers to unscrew the rear calipers but you actually need the special caliper tool. they said that mine uses 280mm discs when they're actually 288 and the list continues lol

Try the Bentley manual, think you can download it!
Mind you its only slightly better.
Also try vagcat.com - you have to register but it shows you the same exploded views as VW parts.
The real problem is the fact that the Mk3 has several different types with different engines and gearboxes so an overall Mk3 manual has to be all encompassing.

They are good up to a point, when fixing the rear electric indows i told me to dismantle the whole thing+ take out the glass, only after loads of hastle getting it out i found you dont really need to  lol mine has about the Agg engine maybe you have an old one, its pretty much the same as the ady as well
If you want it all get Elsawin, but ideally need both for combination of photos and detail

my engine is agg as well, i have no problems with the manuals though

I use this site http://volkswagen.msk.ru/ (http://volkswagen.msk.ru/) It's all the original vw dealer workshop manuals (and most is english)
