Title: First One Spotted at Auction

Hello Chaps (and Chapesses)

Been on for about a month now, just listening and learning, very entertaining.  Never had a GTI before and so thought it's about time I dipped my toe in.  Originally it was going to be the Edition 30 but the new shape has grown on me since.  The rumours of this R20 have then delayed my decision somewhat.

Anyway, to the point.  Just found the first Mk6 on the BCA auction website:

I wonder what it makes and why someone's already resorted to having to go this route.

Could be a repossession or finances haven't worked out and they need to get rid sharpish

I'm sick of waiting for R20 news  :sick:

You took the words right out of my mouth. It can't be very old, but it doesn't look very well cared for on the photo :(
