ok ive lowred my car 40mm wth springs, whats the biggest wheel size i can go, 17,s or 18,s?
-
most people suggest not going any bigger than 16's as the ride can become pretty bad.... from what i've read. use the search, there have been quite a few discussions about it already.
-
fit 20's it will look bling
-
id stick to some vag wheels and fit some of a scania 300/160/22
-
17"s is the biggest, 18"s will fit with loads of work but look silly.
-
17's with a 205 tyre will rub slightly at the rear over harsh bumps and i think thats with an offset of 35 like mine...
i was gonna fit some 18's but i got slated on here for it.... they were right :smug:
now ive just got some 16 mk4 bbs monty's 195/50/16's im gonna paint black....rides much better even with shoddy rear suspention mounts

.. 40mm springs with 17's or 18's will make it look like a 4x4. Stick with 15's or 16's, or buy some coilovers.
