Title: headlamp question

Hi, I'm a complete novice putting a badgeless grill on my 1991 gti and going for the single headlamps instead of the twin. When I remove the unneccessary lights will I need to re-wire the electronics a great deal?

Unplug the spot lights and wrap the plugs in insulation tape  :smiley:

or unplug the short section of spotlamp loom from the back of the headlight and the then detach it fromthre headlight connector on the main car loom then plug that onto the back of headlight
