Title: KR Head on 6A block - which head gasket ?
Post by: Bimm on 07 August 2009, 10:08
Hi,

I have done a search but am still unsure which head gasket i should be using for a 2L 16v conversion using 6A/9A block with KR head.

From what I can gather so far i can use either a KR or 6A/9A head gasket, could someone please confirm which one to use ?

thanks

Bimm

and if im buying a full head gasket set should i use a 9A. Will all other gaskets, seals etc. be the same as on the KR head ?

thanks

ABF is the best headgasket to use,

i would buy KR headset  as the inlet manifold gaskets may be diffrent but cant remeber

I think the inlet manifold gasket is different as from memory KR was 48mm and ABF was 50mm
