Title: Hello everyone, New to this site and to owning a mk3 Golf
Post by: goob on 06 August 2009, 15:30
I've recently just bought a P Reg, Golf GTI 16v. It's in dark green, i've actually already posted images under the 'show images of your car' section. I've used owner forums in the past and find them extremely helpful so looking forward to exchanging information with you lot....it's most likely i'll be needing info from you! cheers for now.. Lewis

Cheers Richard!  I've got a few ideas for it, mainly suspension...which i think im going to replace with coilovers. I've seen coilovers going for around £200, and even £180 on ebay brand new. has anyone used these, just they seem really cheap!!

I'd also like to replace the bottom splitter as its very grey, back to black brings it out nice though so its not too important.

In fact theres a few questions i need to ask in another part of the forum regarding central locking etc! Also, see when i go to start the car, the fuel pump which sounds like its under the rear seats seems to make a noise for a good 20 seconds, is this normal? I should really be asking these questions in another part of the forum i think! cheers
