guys, my flexi join has split on my 1.9 non turbo diesel, what other downpipe can i use??? i had a spare DP from a 1.8 8v but the flexi was useless on that too
will any other DP fit??? a bit of welding isnt a problem for me

Check your engine mounts, if the engine moves it pulls at the flexi pipe.

that not the answer im after

Mabye not but if you dont get that sorted first then the engine will pull apart any exhaust that you try to fit. If the mounts are worn every time you accelerate and decelerate the engine moves back an forth puling at the exhaust.

From memory non turbo diesel is a lot different to the rest of the range.

thats the problem im having, but ive made a solution and that is to weld a new flexi to the old flange and DP
