Ever since changing my knackered throttle body, when the car is warmed up the revs take a long time to come down when the clutch is dipped to change gear after giving it a bit of stick.
Has anyone else noticed this with the 8v compared to other cars or do I have another issue that could be causing this ?

was the replacement t/b clean when fitted? could be dirt stopping it from closing as quick

how long have you had it fitted? it might need time to adjust....

I cleaned if throughly before fitting it, I tried another one and it was exactly the same. Ive had it fitted for about 1 month. When I fitted it I did a Throttle body adjust with vagcom as well.
I think it must be something else causing it not the throttle body. My old throttle body didn't do it but the butterfly in the TB was always clicking when the ignition was turned on and would start really poorly and cut out after start up.
The new one the car starts on the button when cold, its only when its warmed up that the revs take a bit to come down when you change gear...

Make sure the throttle is not sticking in anyway.
