I know it will have been asked a million times before but whats a good suspension set up at min, i have a mk 2 1.6 ryder and cant complain but there seems to be alot of body role around the bends, i probably have 200-300 to spend. Whats a good ride height ?

Get a GTi ARB on it to start with.
-40 mm with springs and gas struts.
thats the best combo for cheepness, cornering and comfort

I guess you mean aftermarket struts?
My Mk2 GTI has 40mm springs but I think the last owner didnt change the shocks as my wheels will hit the arches over speed bumps.
